What Sn1per is, how the editions differ, and where it runs.

Sn1per Professional is Sn1perSecurity's premium attack surface management and reporting platform for penetration testers, bug bounty researchers, and corporate security teams who need to manage large environments and pentest scopes. It builds on the open-source Sn1per scan engine and adds a professional web reporting interface generated automatically from every scan.

The short version: Sn1per Professional adds a paid, professional web reporting interface generated from each scan, plus dedicated customer support. Sn1per Community Edition is free and open source on GitHub.

Sn1per is designed for the latest Kali Linux image, and because of its dependencies we only provide support for installations on Kali or Debian. For any other operating system, we require Sn1per to be installed via Docker.

We don't publish a release schedule. To be the first to know, sign up for our newsletter or follow us on X and YouTube. If you have an active Sn1per Professional license, you can also check the Updates tab inside the application.

While we work hard to maintain and expand Sn1per Professional, we occasionally have to change or remove a feature, temporarily or permanently. Our goal is always to keep customers happy: maintaining as many great features as possible and building even better ones. If a change is blocking you, let us know at [email protected].

Licensing & Usage
How licenses work and where you can install Sn1per.

Our licenses are single user - one license is for one person.

A single license may only be installed on one system at a time. To run Sn1per Professional on multiple systems simultaneously, you'll need a license for each one.
You can, however, uninstall and re-install on a different system as needed - as long as the same license key isn't in use on two or more systems at the same time.
Support
What's covered, how to reach us, and basic troubleshooting.

Every active Sn1per Professional annual plan includes professional support by email (in English).
Included: troubleshooting, installation assistance, and basic usability help for Sn1per Professional during your valid annual license term. Emails are typically answered within 24-48 business hours. We're based on the U.S. West Coast and generally respond on weekdays, excluding holidays.
Not included: we don't support unsupported operating systems or browsers (please confirm the system requirements), and we don't troubleshoot third-party software - check with the relevant vendor. We also can't provide custom scripts, code, fixes, or tutorials; our documentation, blog, and wiki cover many additional topics.

Email support is reserved for active Sn1per Professional annual licenses. For anything related to the free Community Edition, please open an issue on GitHub.

First, keep in mind that some scans simply take longer than others. If you're certain a scan is stuck, it often means the target is blocking you. You can usually get past it by running
killall nmap.Alternatively, in a separate terminal run
sniper --statusto list the PIDs of running Sn1per processes, then runkill -9 <PID>on the problematic process so the scan can continue. -
We maintain usability in previous versions as long as possible and guarantee minimum functionality for up to 6 months from the purchase date.
Note: customer service and troubleshooting on older releases (prior to v10.0) were only supported for 14 days from the date of purchase.

Yes - you can request a free 3-day trial of Sn1per Professional or Sn1per Enterprise on our trial page. It's the fastest way to evaluate the full platform in your own environment.

Billing & Payments
Pricing, invoices, payment methods, and refunds.

Our pricing is competitive and reflects the value the product delivers - more features and more functionality. Each product is licensed per user for one year (365 days).

A download link is provided within 24-48 hours of payment, usually sooner. If 48 hours pass without one, contact us at [email protected] and we'll make it right.

Sn1per Professional is billed annually. You receive a full year of use, updates, and support, beginning on your purchase date.

To give you the best possible price, the full 12-month term must be paid in advance at the time of purchase. We're unable to prorate the annual cost in any form.

We currently offer annual terms only, paid at the start of each one-year term.

Sn1per Professional is billed annually, and you're entitled to all updates released during your one-year term.

Our payment processor and Merchant of Record is Paddle. For billing or tax questions, reach their team at [email protected].

We don't accept Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies at this time. All eligible payment methods are presented at checkout. Wire payments aren't available at checkout - they require an invoice to be generated (see below).

Sn1per Enterprise is quoted per environment, so we need a little more information before providing pricing. Contact us at [email protected] and we'll help.

We can guarantee invoice pricing for 30 days. After that, it's subject to any price changes. If you're nearing the 30-day mark and still want to purchase, contact [email protected] to confirm or have a new invoice issued.

Because of the nature of digital software, we cannot provide refunds on digital products. If you have an unusual circumstance, reach out to [email protected] and we'll see whether we can find a solution for you.

The only official place to buy Sn1per Professional is our online shop. We generally don't authorize third-party resellers to sell our products. If in doubt, contact [email protected].
