Sn1per SE v10.8 Now Available – New Features, Tools & Enhancements!

We’re excited to announce the release of Sn1per SE (Scan Engine) v10.8, bringing a host of new features, tools, templates, and improvements. This update is part of the Sn1per SE development branch, exclusively available to Sn1per Professional and Sn1per Enterprise customers. If you’re a previous customer or using the Community Edition on GitHub, you’ll need to purchase a Sn1per Professional or Enterprise license to access this latest update.

🚀 New Features & Tools

Sn1per SE v10.8 introduces several enhanced reconnaissance and enumeration capabilities, improving both web and domain brute force techniques while adding new OSINT and credential leakage detection functionalities:

  • Updated Web Brute Force Wordlist – Optimized for better coverage and accuracy.
  • Updated Domain Brute Force Wordlist – Enhanced dictionary for subdomain discovery.
  • LeakSearch Tool – Searches for compromised credentials across various sources.
  • URLFinder Tool – Gathers passive URLs for improved target reconnaissance.
  • Servicelens Tool – Enumerates third-party services for expanded attack surface visibility.
  • Netlas Integration – Adds support for Netlas sub-domain and OSINT enumeration (requires a FREE API key from Netlas).

📝 New Templates

This release also brings improved vulnerability detection with new and updated Nuclei templates:

  • LeakSearch Compromised Credentials Template – Automates credential leak detection.
  • Dalfox Open Redirect Detection Template – Identifies potential open redirect vulnerabilities.
  • Updated SMB Vulnerability Detection Templates – Strengthened SMB-related security checks.

⚙️ New Settings

Configuration management is now more streamlined, providing greater flexibility and efficiency:

  • Consolidated default configurations into seven modes:
    • default, flyover, full_scan, fullportscan, recon_active, recon_passive, and vulnscan
  • New Netlas API integration:
    • NETLAS_API_KEY – Sets the Netlas API key.
    • NETLAS_SUBDOMAINS – Enables subdomain enumeration.
    • NETLAS_OSINT – Retrieves OSINT data for target analysis.
  • FFUF_OPTS – Allows users to customize FFuf flags/options for optimized fuzzing.

🐞 Bug Fixes & Improvements

We’ve addressed critical bugs and enhanced stability to ensure seamless scanning performance:

  • Fixed Nuclei static scan issues encountered in recent updates.
  • Updated TheHarvester installation method to resolve compatibility issues.
  • Refactored samrdump.py for Python 3 compatibility.

Existing Sn1per Professional and Enterprise users can update to v10.8 by running:

  • sniper -u

Alternatively, use the “Update” function within the Command Execution module.
